Another Weird/Bad Dream

Stacie just reminded me that I had a bad dream last night.  Let's see what I can remember:

The dream involved zombies.  Not "Night of the Living Dead" zombies, mind you, but "28 Days Later" or "Resident Evil 4" zombies, complete with red eyes, speed and intensity.  I'm guessing this came from the fact that Stacie and I discussed watching the movie "Fido" at some point.  "Fido" is a comedy about domesticated zombies.

When the dream started, the apocalypse had already arrived.  Zombies dominated the city.  Stacie, her baby nephew Colin and I were hiding in a condemned apartment.  I'm not sure where everyone else was.  I do know that there was the feeling of foreboding, that the zombies were about to locate us and that we needed to immediately leave the place.  As such, we ventured out of our hiding spaces, utilizing the crawlspaces and broken walls between apartments.  It gets all blurry after that, but I do know that eventually the zombies did catch up with us and turned Stacie into one of them.  I think it had something to do with Stacie trying to find the rest of her family and that they had, in fact, been turned and attacked her.

The last thing I remember is being alone with Colin, at dusk, in the middle of a junkyard, mentally preparing myself for the next zombie onslaught.

Neat, huh?
